I received both my Bachelor of Science (1983) and Doctor of Philosophy (1989) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and earned my medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin (1991). After a residency in Internal Medicine (1994). I completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology (1996), both at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I am an Allergist/Immunologist in independent practice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I earned my PhD in immunology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and completed medical school, an internal medicine residency and allergy fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

I have been in private practice since 1996 and supervised over 150 clinical trials since 1994, assisting in the development of new treatments for allergic disorders. I am the Executive Director of Fight Asthma Milwaukee Allies, a 501C3 nonprofit dedicated to improving asthma care especially for the under-served in Milwaukee County, and I serve on several committees as well as the Board of Regents of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. I was elected by my peers into the Best Doctors in America for 2017-2018, and was selected as Medical Director of the QCDR Registry of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, where I also serve on the Health Informatics, Technology and Education committee.

I enjoy biking, swimming, scuba diving, woodworking and cabinetry, home improvement projects, digital video and photography and digital electronics.
