History:

I received my medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 2002, and completed my family medicine residency at St. Michael / Medical College Of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in 2005. I am a board certified family physician.

Diseases & Conditions:

Family medicine provides an amazing opportunity to be able to care for patients from many different life situations, and in fact from many unique kinds of families. As a mom of three, I thoroughly enjoy taking care of pediatric patients, and helping parents navigate some of the unique challenges that come along with parenting our children. I have a particular interest in women’s health, including fertility and contraceptive management, pregnancy related issues, and menopause. I also very much like caring for patients as they are aging.

Treatments & Services:

As an experienced family physician, I am excited to partner with you and your family in all stages of your lives! I want to engage with you at your level, and make sure each and every one of you feels like an important part of your health care team. I’m happy to be able to provide you with both emotional support and medical knowledge, so you may truly understand your healthcare goals, and work together with me to live your best possible life!

Personal Interests:

In my freetime, I love to spend time with my busy family of five, including my husband John and our three children. And our family wouldn’t be complete without our dog Nora! Together, the O’Quinns enjoy hiking in the national parks, planning trips to all things Disney, and swimming whenever the weather is warm enough. I have been singing with the Milwaukee Choristers since 1999 when I was a first-year medical student, and I still find time to be the “cookie mom” for my daughter’s girl scout troop each year. If ever you can’t reach me, it’s possible I am scuba diving with my husband in the Caribbean somewhere! I have not escaped my Minnesota roots entirely, I still cheer heartily for the Vikings on Sundays during the NFL season. But come summer, I am a Brewers fan through and through! I also enjoy volunteering my time seeing patients and teaching medical students at the Saturday Clinic for the Uninsured, I am the District Medical Advisor for the local school district.
