Health Information Technician

Scope:
The Health Information Technician is primarily responsible for scanning documents into Electronic Health Records, maintaining and delivering medical records as well as release of medical records per HIPAA and company guidelines.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
- Retrieve patient medical records for physicians, technicians, or other medical personnel.
- Maintain existing charts in good repair
- Distribute mail to second floor staff
- Thins non-active charts from the record room for chart purging
- Pull and deliver medical records that are needed for add on appointments or other prompt need for chart
- Retrieves charts from storage as needed
- Assists in other clinic roles as directed
- Perform related duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Previous medical experience a plus. Medical Records experience preferred. Communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with clinic physicians, clinic patients and their families.

Junior Accountant

Scope:
The Junior Accountant works under the direction of the Director of Finance performing detailed work assignments in several accounting related areas, including accounts payable and general ledger.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.
· Charge expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices, expense reports, and recording accounting entries.
· Verify vendor information, including Federal ID numbers and W-9 documentation.
· Prepare and process payments through checks, electronic funds transfers (EFT), wire transfers, and other payment methods.
· Maintain accurate accounts payable records, vendor files and supporting documentation.
· Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues in a timely manner.
· Issue stop-payments when necessary and investigate payment discrepancies.
· Ensure approved capital requests are properly attached to fixed asset purchases.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
· Manage petty cash disbursements by verifying supporting documentation and recording transactions.
· Prepare daily bank deposits and coordinate bank pickups.
· Administer live checks and monitor check distribution processes.
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
· Maintain vendor master files and collect required tax documentation for new vendors.
· Prepare annual Schedule C and Employee/Trustee expense reports for Form 5500 reporting.
· Administer and prepare annual 1099 reporting for eligible vendors.
· Serve as the primary contact for corporate credit card administration and vendor services, including water cooler account.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles, experience with invoice processing, payment administration, and vendor management.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required OR at least 3 years of work experience in accounts payable or accounting.

Registered Nurse

Scope:
Under general supervision of the Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for providing the direct delivery of patient care. In addition, evaluates patients and their families, identifies education and nursing needs, coordinates medically appropriate services, and documents accurate information related to assessment and patient care.
Experience & Education Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
· Has an active and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
· Maintains CPR certification on a biennial basis.
· Previous experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
· Collaborate with RN Manager in overseeing and leading team consisting of Medical Assistants
· Ability to oversee operation of a primary care department
· Experience and/or willingness to work with pediatric & geriatric patients
Responsibilities
Nursing Process: Utilizes the nursing process to identify, assess, plan and deliver nursing needs to clinic patients and their families.
Care Management: Collaborates with the clinic physicians and outside health professionals to implement, evaluate and revise care as needed. Teaching: Identifies education needs and knowledge deficits. Evaluates the effectiveness and revises teaching as needed.
Assessment: Evaluates clinic patients and their families, other departments, and other facilities to ensure appropriate patient care. Assures that patients and their families receive the health information that they need for their understanding of their condition. IV, Pediatrics, and Triage experience preferred but not required.
